Help teaching "carry and hold" to my puppy.?

Years ago, I managed to learn a Sheltie for you to add almost any object on command – from the hand or on the ground. Certainly, this was increadibly Sheltie intelligent and very young when I learned if my methods are not perfect. Now I have a wonderful mix of German shepherd (8 months) which is great for recovery, return, and catching Frisbees in the air, but for the life of me I can not make it simply take and hold an object. Specifically, it opens its mouth and accept the object on the command "run" but drops immediately without even try to keep it. I tried with his Kong, rawhide bones, plastic models of training, and even a Frisbee. For some reason, it has into their heads that "carry" means that I'll put something in her mouth she will quit immediately. What am I doing wrong? I thought that this awesome power chewer and Frisbee chaser would like to know this stuff.

I suggest slowly trying to keep his lead during long periods of time …. Try using treats for this when ….. it first obtains the object in the mouth and hold your hand and say turn right back into your hand before she's lucky enough to … rewarded with pay to mark the desired behavior. repeat repeat, repeat ….. see if it starts to catch on behavior marked as …….. you want the object in his mouth when you hold the command ……. Just goes to show EHV each dog is a unique animal reguardless of race …… gradually try to extend the deadline after ordering, you hold and the time you order to get the item back ….. Always mark the correct behavior as the fact that the mouth is inherently subject rewarding with the treatment once you retriever object of his … am not a reward treat the mind, if she holds it, but temporarliy then it drops before retrieving the object of his mouth … Maybe this will help??? Some dogs are not interested in exercise around things. My last was an evil look and the dog run with him, go to bed with her and chewing type …. I read Malamutes are not going for any, but my new …… it requires that we seek with her so that at the dog park, it will gather all other tennis balls aounrd dogs on the park in a one pile and set them up with someone, anyone, me or a stranger comes up and throws them all the way known for its move get …. lol … just shows that every dog has its own unique animal reguardless of race …..
