if you can not teach tricks to an old dog new?
My 7 years old staffy, Jed seems to laze around all day and it looks really bored. When I play with him, he loves it. Now we've all heard the expression "you can not teach an old dog new tricks, but I try to learn some tricks. He is quite obedient and knows sit, stay, come … Can anyone give me advice on how to teach him some stuff new? Much appreciated.
You should be able to do, but it may take more time than he was a puppy. Because it is not a puppy a soft approach is best. Do not yell at him, when he will do what it takes to give him a treat. hopes that helps.
